My vehicle failed the smog check, what are my options?

If your vehicle failed the smog check inspection it must be repaired at a licensed smog & repair facility. Click on this link to locate a smog and repair shop near you.

The catalytic converter on my vehicle was stolen and I installed an aftermarket catalytic converter, will I pass the smog test?

Most after market catalytic converters are legal, they must have an EO Number engraved on them and that number must match the Year, make, model and Engine group number on your vehicle. You can click on this LINK to see what EO numbers are legal for your vehicle.

I have an aftermarket part on my vehicle, Cold Air intake, tuner, Catalytic converter, etc. Will my vehicle pass the smog test?

My vehicle failed the smog check, do you give FREE retests?

Yes, we give all our customers a FREE retest on all vehicles model year 2000 or newer within 90 days, motorhomes excluded. Retests on 1999 thru 1996 is $50.00 & $75 on 1995 & older vehicles.

Do I need an appointment to get my smog check and how long does it take?

No appointment is needed, we do smog checks on first come, first serve basis. The test usually takes about 5 to 10 minutes to be done.

Can I renew my DMV registration and get my stickers at your shop?

Yes, once your vehicle passes the smog inspection, we can collect the DMV registration fees from you and issue you new stickers. If you already paid the registrations fees online or by mail, then we can't process your tags for you.

My vehicle requires a CARB / SB 210 compliance or HD clean truck check. Are you authorized to perform either?

Yes, we a certified CARB testing station and can perform the HD I/M clean truck check on vehicles 2013 & Newer and we can come to your site if needed. If you need to register your fleet or personal Motorhome, click here.
